About Me
I am Inkyu An, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Software at Kookmin University.
I received my bachelor’s degree from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Dongguk University,
my master’s degree from the Robotics Program at KAIST, and my Ph.D. from the School of Computing at KAIST.
My advisor during my master’s and Ph.D. studies was Prof. Sung-Eui Yoon at the School of Computing, KAIST.
After graduating from KAIST, I worked as a researcher in the Integrated Intelligence Research Section at ETRI.
My research interests include robot audition (sound source localization, speech separation, automatic speech recognition)
and multimodal embodied AI. Ultimately, my goal is to enable robots to understand all real-world sensory information
(vision, hearing, touch, etc.) and to take appropriate actions accordingly.
